In July 2008, Blueprint Manufacturing Solutions filed worldwide patent applications for a method of closing sacks by automated knotting. No other equipment is available on the market which can seal sacks/bags in a way that avoids all risks of downstream contamination.     

Considerable interest is being shown by food processors servicing the retail industry.
